FAQ

Questions people ask first

How is my qadaa calculated?

Enter your date of birth and the age you reached puberty, or choose a date range. Qadaar counts every day since then using Hanafi rules — for women it accounts for menstruation and nifas. Because cycles vary, a woman’s result is an approximation you can adjust at any time.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use Qadaar anonymously on one phone. Sign in with Google or Apple when you want your counters backed up and synced across devices.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Prayer times are calculated on your phone, and the Qiblah compass, your qadaa counters and any surah you have downloaded all work offline. You need a connection only to sync your account or to stream a recitation you haven’t downloaded.

Which prayer time method does it use?

Qadaar picks one of 14 calculation methods for your country automatically — including Uzbekistan, Umm al-Qura, ISNA and Diyanet — and you can change it at any time. Asr can follow the Hanafi or the standard rule.

Can I track missed fasts too?

Yes. Fasting qadaa lets you log each Ramadan by year and reason — illness, travel, menstruation and more — set a deadline, and mark each fast as you make it up.

Is the Qur’an available offline?

Yes. Download a single surah or the whole Quran, and both the text and the recitation work without a connection.

How does Qadaar find the Qibla?

The Qibla compass uses your location and your phone’s magnetometer to point at the Kaaba, and shows the distance to Makkah. It works offline, and your phone vibrates when you are facing the Qiblah.
