This policy is published by BA Solutions, LLC, Tacoma, Washington, USA, the company that provides the Qadaar app and qadaar.io. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What consumer health data we collect
Qadaar calculates missed prayers and fasts under rules that depend on reproductive health. So if you use the qadaa calculator or the fasting log, you may give us:
- Menstrual cycle information: whether your cycle is regular, and its length and interval.
- Childbirth information: whether you have given birth, and the days of postnatal bleeding (nifas) for each child.
- Reasons for missed fasts: illness, menstruation, postnatal bleeding, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Notes you choose to add to a fasting entry, which may mention your health.
We collect this data only from you, when you enter it. Qadaar does not read health data from Apple Health, Google Health Connect or any other source, and does not infer health information from your location or activity.
Why we collect it
Only to provide the features you use:
- calculating how many prayers and fasts you have to make up;
- showing your fasting log back to you;
- if you are signed in, keeping it in sync between your devices.
We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not send it to analytics.
Who we share it with
We do not sell consumer health data, and we share it with no third party for their own purposes. It is stored and processed for us by our processors, under contracts that limit them to our instructions:

We have no affiliates that receive this data. We would disclose it only where the law requires it, for example under a valid court order.
If you do not sign in, the data stays on your phone and none of it reaches us.
Your rights
If you are a Washington resident, or a consumer whose health data is collected in Washington, you have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it;
- get a list of all third parties and affiliates with which we have shared it, and their contact details;
- withdraw consent to our collection and sharing of it;
- have it deleted. We also tell our processors to delete it.
Residents of other states with similar laws have the rights those laws give.
How to use them
- Delete it yourself in the app: remove the entries, or delete your whole account (Menu → Delete account). See Delete your account.
- Anything else: email info@qadaar.io from any address and tell us the email address of your Qadaar account. If you used Sign in with Apple with “Hide My Email”, that is the @privaterelay.appleid.com address listed in your Apple ID settings under Sign in with Apple. To confirm the account is yours, we write to that address and ask you to reply.
We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend that by another 45 days, and we will tell you why within the first 45. There is no charge for a request.
Appeals
If we decline your request, you can appeal: reply to our answer or email info@qadaar.io with the subject “Appeal”. We answer an appeal within 45 days, in writing, with our reasons. If the appeal is denied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with a new date.
